Bro. Kevin and Mrs. Rhonda began their ministry twenty-five years ago, right here, at Central Baptist Church as Children’s Director. They surrender to vocational ministry in October 2000, and began a long journey to arrive back at our beginnings. Bro. Kevin has served as a youth pastor and as senior pastor in churches in Mississippi and Arkansas. They started as Children’s Directors again at CBC in November of 2022.

God has a road map that takes us to all the places we need to learn, grow and mature in our life and our faith. We trust Him to do that again here at Central. As we plan and organize the ministry, our desire is to show children the love of Christ in every way possible, through Children’s Church on Sunday mornings, BLAST on Wednesday night, and other outreach events. We ask for your support and prayers most of all as we share the gospel with the next generation of church leaders!

Worship Leader

Alyssa Ledford

(501)724-5316

Alyssa has been the worship leader since March 2019 for Central Baptist Church. She has been married to her loving husband and the media man for 11 years and look forward to many more. They have three beautiful children that likewise have been raised at CBC, Lilah 7 Branch 4 and Case 3. She and her family enjoy all things outdoors including her hobby farm of chickens and other animals. Alyssa grew up in Bald Knob as did her husband, Kevin. Her roots run deep in this community and church. She has been a faithful member since she was born in 1987. Her family has been attending since her grandparents, The Hattabaughs, were married in the late 50s and started attending soon after. Her love for music began at a very young age. At the young age of 7 years old she sang her first accompaniment special at the old church. Alyssa feels blessed to use the gift of music by leading others to the throne through song. She hopes to continue to grow the praise team as the church grows with encouragement. She said that she is “excited to see the excitement that is spreading across the peoples hearts, including her own.” Listen for a hum or a song around the church to find her as she always has a song in her head and on her heart!

Ministry Assistant

Jessica Pellegrin

Jessica, previously from Michigan, has spent the majority of her life in White County. Her and her husband, Johnathan, will be celebrating their 7th anniversary this May. Their family consists of Emma age 7 , bonus daughter MaKenzie age 12, and a 5 year old Daniff pup named Hank. Together, they also own and operate an automotive repair shop in Judsonia. When Jessica is not at CBC or their shop, she can be found doing the thing she loves and cherishes most - spending time with and supporting her family.

Jessica found the Lord when she was 8 years old, coming in from the bus ministry at a local church. She has always had a desire to know and seek God, and glorify Him with her life. After a lot of prayer and God working in the background, He made it abundantly clear that CBC was the place to do just that. She looks forward to supporting the church, staff and members in her role as ministerial assistant and, even more so, as a sister in Christ. “God has a way of pruning and nurturing each of us for a purpose and path. I pray that with the work we do in the office at CBC, the church will be able to efficiently grow into and above that purpose. Loving God’s people takes all hands on deck.”
